Upgrade Gen Grande 8.0 or go with FTM 2005? Or??

Hi

I am hoping that you all might be able to share a few thoughts on genealogy programs with me. I currently have all my data on Generations Grande Suite 8.0 (running on XP) and I recently purchased Family Tree Maker 2005. I am trying to figure out if I should find an undated version of Generations or transfer all my data (bahhhh) to FTM. Or just scrap it and get a stronger more versatile program.

I am looking for something that is user friendly but still allows you to enter a great deal of data and create good reports. I used to have a lot of time to devote to figuring out new programs, but I have a small baby now and he keeps me busy. :)

Thanks so much for any thoughts on this! Cheers - Kalli
