Replacing Generations

I have had Family Tree Maker for some years - thinking it would replace Generations for me. But I don't much like it so I've not kept my own data updated in that program. I do keep it for dumping other people's GEDCOMs into when they sent them to me.

The program that will be replacing my old beloved Generations is The Master Genealogist. This is a very sophisticated program that does have a somewhat steep learning curve but which none of us will ever outgrow! Equally important is that it has always had SUPERB customer service.

I had no problem at all transferring data from Generations to either Family Tree Maker or to The Master Genealogist.
