Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Sorry, this doesn't answer your question, but you may be able to help me instead :)

I'm reluctantly considering moving from Generations because the programme doesn't seem to have a future. An obvious alternative seems to be Family Tree Maker.

Did you find it easy to move data across (I have around 180 people in my tree, so too much to do manually)? And did you have many problems? And finally how do you find the "look and feel" of FTM compared to Generations?

Many thanks for any help you can give me
