Upgrading from Generations 5.2 US to 8.0 UK

Can anyone help I was using Windows ME with Generations 5.2 UK edition have now changed to Windows XP Pro and Generations 8.0 UK.
Cant action print view charts/cant merge editions/Loosing date for births and deaths
Needs urgent help please!!!
Is there as patches or updated drivers to download and solve problems.
