Unfortunatly I haven'e found the answere to the problem yet and am just not using that programe untill I find the problem.
What I have done is taken a copy of my info (it doesn't seem to affect that) and have installed the program to an old computer I have that isn't connected to the internet and transfered all my data to that. This has solved my immediate problem of losing data, as this computer seems to be working OK with generations, which leads me to suspect that the problem could have something to do with unwanted downloads from the internet, but this is a complete guess.
If anyone comes up with an answere, please let me know. once angain. Thanks. Sandra
