Actually they do export in the gedcom, it's just that most programs can't read them. I experimented with GedBrowser recently and found it could read the notes, just not the citations. GenBox, which I just tried, can't read either the notes or the citations. But I have sent and received gedcoms from a cousin also using Generations, and the notes with the citations read just fine. So it becomes the more problem of the program reading the gedcom created by Generations, not a problem of Generations necessarily.
