Can You Change The Default File Location?
Posted by: Steve Owen (ID *****3781) Date: January 08, 2004 at 12:53:04

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can set the default file location for Generations? I have had a look in regedt32.exe and regedit.exe but do not see the following path mentioned anywhere. Do I take it is written in the depths of the program somewhere. I have a small network at home and every time I open EasyTree or EasyChart it continually defaults to:

C:\Program Files\Sierra\Gen5 as opposed to my preferred location on my server.

I am operating Windows 2000 Pro & Server with Generations 6.x (upgraded from 5.2).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards,

Steve
