I am at the same stage as your father but maybe a bit more computer literate. What I am trying to get is a simple family card like Generations has with the three generations clickable without all the additional information that other programs seem to give by the side of the screen and elsewhere which totally clutters it in my opinion. If any respondents to the original poster would try and address this I would be grateful. A quick look at images from Legacy indicates it may have nearer that simple 3 gens family screen but there doesn't seem to be a trial version available. I did look at Family Historian and although you may be able to reduce the information on the screen I couldn't see how to do it on my trial version. Thanks all.
