Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Jo,

You can move your data to any genealogy program using Gedcom but some are better than others at giving you the facilities you have become used to in Generations. Depending on how you have used the Generations program your data may move without a hitch or you may need some modifications to your data.

Family Historina is an excellent replacement program and will give you some modern facilities for image storage and display.

There is all sorts of information and help here on the internet about moving away from Generations.

I hope this is of help.
