Help with file .fdb
Posted by: Scott F (ID *****9283) Date: September 13, 2010 at 09:27:34

I have a file that was created using Generations software and I have not accessed it for a few years. I want to get back into my family history and bought Family Tree Maker 2011 and planned to import the .fdb file. Won't do it.
I researced and downloaded free version of Legacy program that does recognize the file but won't open it either.
I have numerous version and none will open.
Does anyone have any suggestions or help for me?
I've entered a lot of information and would hate to have to start from scratch to do this. I'm looking for something to convert it to a GEDCOM or other standard file extension that Family Tree Maker will recognize for me
Thank you
