Hi Trevor,
Firstly, many thanks for maintaining support for this software - it is a great product, in spite of minor quirks - a pity it is no longer being developed further, but at least the ongoing support helps.
My apologies if the e-mail was not clear. The boxes for Misc. Notes are checked for both individuals and couples for the Family History Report and all of the text is present and prints fine. However, unlike other fields checked for the report, the field title (i.e. Misc. Notes) is not included before the notes themselves. Thus, a birth entry, for instance, and a Misc. Note entry appear as below in the Report:
Birth:2 Apr 1920, Bath, Somerset
WWII Service - enlisted as Private in the British Army on 26 Mar 1944
I have created a user-defined note called Research. Here the field title is included in a Report:
Research: Name transcribed as Henyr in the 1930 Census
The missing field title, Misc. Notes (or whatever you have renamed it under Define Fields - I have changed it to Person Notes for individuals and Family Notes for the couple), make Reports confusing to follow, therefore my attempt to find a solution to the problem, which I think, unfortunately, is one of programming, as it is present in both Generations Grande Suite 8 and Generations Family Tree.
Regards,
Duncan R. Paton
