I don't think backup should be a problem. Just copy the Reunion 8 folder you download out of the Applications folder onto a CD.

I'm using a Mac iBook G4, 1.42 GHz w/ 1.5 GB memory,and OS 10.4.11 to run mine, but have ran it at school on much older, simpler Macs as well.
