Hello,

If your previous version of Generations was v4, you click the v8.5a icon on your desktop, click EasyTree, click Upgrade, and navigate on the right hand side to the folder where your v4 data files are saved. Your family file should show in the left hand side, select it, and click Open.

If your previous version of Generations was v5 or v6 or v8, you copy your .uds family file to the program Files/Generations folder.

Regards,

Trevor Rix
