Thank you for explaining the circumstances of your experience with the 1 CONC 1 CONC 841 phenomena. This is exactly what I discovered, and when I was in discussion with another product technical team regarding the dropped '1' or 'B' in Birth etc into their programme, they pointed out to me that the GENERATIONS format of 1 CONC 1 CONC was at fault and that they could do nothing about it.
This is causing me a massive GEDCOM transfer problem. I am not technically minded I am afraid, but I am surprised that this problem had not been identified earlier in the GENERATIONS officially supported lifespan, and a fix generated. Am I being too simplistic in my reasoning to think that a good programmer might be able to formulate a solution??
If I am not being too tedious about this issue, I would appreciate the benefit of your advice on the programme that you discovered uses the CONC and CONT correctly.
Many thanks for your advice.
