Hello Heather,

It depends on what type of disk you are referring to. You should have no difficulty in saving to your hard disk drive or to a floppy disk.

Generally speaking, it has never been possible to use Save A Copy to save directly from Generations to a CD. You need to save to your hard disk first and then use your normal CD burning software to burn that copy from the hard disk to a CD-R disk. Or drag the copy from your hard disk to a CD-RW disk.

As a separate issue, please be aware that your old Generations v7.0 will not be compatible with the Windows on your new computer. You need v8.5a for that reason, not for the CD burning reason.
