Hi Debbie,

Could you please list the problems that you are experiencing. Different problems have different solutions.

We TWR Computing supply and support Generations v8.5a.

If you are considering changing programs I would suggest Family Historian, powerful and flexible, which does a good job of importing Generations GEDCOM files. Another alternative is The Master Genealogist which will directly import Generations .uds family files without using GEDCOM. Be aware however that TMG has a steeper learning curve than other programs. We supply and support Family Historian and TMG too, as well as the other major family history programs including Family Tree Maker which is the closest in looks to Generations.

Be assured whatever you do you will not lose all your information.
