Crashes Causing Indexing Problems
Posted by: Tara Maggard (ID *****3045) Date: December 15, 2006 at 10:52:30

Program: Generations v. 8.5a for WinXP
System: Windows XP Home Edition, SP2

Every time Generations crashes, I find that I end up with a lot of people linked up to the wrong spouses. I now have too many male/male and female/female marriages to count and nobody in my 91,000+ name database is gay. Hmmm...what's up with that? I also end up with absolutely blank (no name) inaccessible people in the index. I deleted one of the blank entries and a whole family went missing. This is so frustrating and I'm just about to give up on this program and switch to Legacy 'cause I'm spending more time FIXING my database than adding new people to it.
