The problem is that Generations is so flexible that it does not always conform to the GEDCOM standard resulting in some notes and sources not transferring properly, not even from Generations to Generations.
The best transfer that I know of from Generations via GEDCOM is to Family Historian. The only other solution is to use the direct import of Generations .uds family files into The Master Genealogist without using GEDCOM at all.
