I do not know much French, and when I typed
"une cousine a la fesse gauche" into the translator it transcribed as "a cousin wiht the left buttock". LOL I know many things don't have literal translations but that struck me as really funny. I wonder if that phrase was meant to be a kindly one or not! LOL

The pic I have is also a photocopy and also not very good.

There have been rumblings in our family of indian blood for a long time but nothing but rumors. I haven't dug for stuff re: my ancestry for a long time but I think I might start trying to fill in the gaps. I've gathered so much material over the years that it became unmanageable and I took a very long break.

I use Family Tree Maker for some time now and like it, though I haven't used anything else. It is a little tedious when it comes to documenting sources, though.

Take care, your 2nd cousin, Jodi :)
