Patricia, Eugene, name is Jodi Gendreau and I am also a decendant of David Gendreau. I believe I've spoken with Eugene and Dean before. I am David's GGranddaughter through Oscar's line (Donat's brother). David has been a tricky bugger to track down. The info I have is a picture of his headstone in N. Grosvenordale, CT listing his date as Dec 16, 1909. I have a copy of his death certificate, as well. I'd be interested in getting a copy of the marriage certificate between David and Sarah and will certainly pay for a copy of it. I have lots of info on all of David's children including census records transcribed from Ancestry's database. I'll be happy to share whatever is of particular interest to anyone.

I also have a complete list of all of David's ancestors dating back to Pierre Gendreau dit Lapoussierre who came to Canada in 1656 from Saint-Denis, France. However, I have no specific source information just that it looks like it was put together by a genealogist. This info I received from Richard Oscar Hamel, decendent of Marie Rose Antoinette Hamel nee Gendreau, daughter of David Gendreau (phew).

This may all be repeat information. I also have a copy of the pic of Sara and her children, also received from Richard Hamel, but it's the one and only pic I have. There was mention of another pic of Sara on this thread somewhere that I would also be interested in obtaining.

Patricia, my Father, Oscar Jr., knew your father well and would speak kindly of him. He grew up in Southbridge and ran in those circles for quite some time. Unfortunately, I lost my dad last year to Alzheimers.

Well, that's all I wanted to contribute. Hopefully it will be useful for someone. Please contact me if you are willing to share marriage license info on David and Sara and/or pic of Sara. Thanks again!
Jodi Green nee Gendreau
