I'm glad you missed the book scam. And you probably know this already, but if not, here's a tip. Don't overlook otherwise valid sources because the name is spelled slightly differently. Widespread literacy is a fairly new phenomenon in the world, and families have varying spellings of the same name. Levasseur is a name that's certain to be misspelled by lots of folks, even the ones who aren't running scams.
