My Grandmother, Albertina(Nichols)Thurston,b1884, was a member of two Spirtual (church)- groups both in Springfield,Mass. both at the same location State St. Spirtual Church of Allinece have some there information ,but the other has me stumped. Its name was The Daughters of Pocahontas,I have her membership pin,A small canoe w/a Indian women paddling, hanging from the canoe is a golden circle w/two axes forming a x Would like more information on both,but especially DOP..Today is 5/16/00 Thank you for your time.
