As mentioned in my August 15 reply, there were other inds of bonds than marriage bonds. There were also Bastrdry Bonds, Apprenticeship Bonds, ec, which may or may not have been called by the same title in all counties. The problem is ihat there were not too many bonds that involved a woman's name. Marriage bonds,bastardry bonds , and apprenticeship bonds involved a woman's name.

You need to know where this bond was found. By that I mean under what series of records ...... such as Court Minutes, etc. I don't know if you have a copy of the actual bond, or if you are taking someone else's word for what it says.
