The 1850 census I was looking at was from a FamilySearch site. It was from Civil District# 11, DeKalb county, Tennessee (dated August 31, 1850).

The name is John J. Bennitt, age 13 (born 1837).
House#: 380
Family#: 380
Line#: 24
Affiliate Film#: 876
GS Film#: 444832
Digital Folder#: 004205422
Image#: 00184

Wondering what "PC" means in the Place of Birth column.
