Researching Anita Mary Tkacs
Posted by: April LeMieux (ID *****8190) Date: December 01, 2012 at 10:14:15

Does anyone has information on Anita Mary Tkacs Stanton. She was born 5/11/1929, died from complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis on 7/19/1969 and is buried at the Plainview Cemetery, NY.
I am looking for information on her parents, their names and birthdate, her mother's maiden name, the names of any siblings Anita's parents had, their ethnicity Anita's parents claimed and if they belonged to a religion, and if anyone in her parents family immigrated to the USA?
Anita had three siblings, John J., Joeseph John ( Uncle Joey) and Marion Tkacs Condenzio.
I was told that the Tkacs siblings were placed in a NYC orphanage. The story goes that one parent died and the other one left the country. I don't know if the circumstances of why they were placed in the orphanage is true.
Anita married James Michael Stanton(DOB 8/09/1923, Died 6/24/1982). They had 6 children, James Michael, Richard Wayne, Eileen Francis, Dorothy Jean, Theresa and Anthony(died as a child).
I am told that Anita's parents, her siblings and her children resided in Brooklyn, NY and Far Rockaway, NY.
Thank you for any help.
