added info on a tree with the wrong middle name

Hello everyone. My mother is Barbara ANN Broxham b. 8 Feb 1936 in CA. She died in Bullhead AZ. The problem is alot of people are putting her details with the name Barbara JEAN Broxham. How do I find out where the name Jean is coming from and how to get this error out quickly. I try to go right to the person's link, like in mytrees.com, only to be reminded that I cannot afford any subscriptions to all these different sites at this time.
It keeps happening while I am searching and more and more often. I understand how it is happening from the researchers that just add trees to theirs without verification on each individual. Im just trying to end the confusion of Barbara Ann's info such as b. 1936 d. AZ married to William D. Gorden 6 children...Listed as Barbara Jean Broxham.
Thanking you in advance for your time and trouble,
Ceileste
