Death Record/ Possible TB Sanitorium NY
Has anyone gotten a Death Record for a person who at that time was put into a TB Sanitorium? My Great Grandmother Rosolina Di Crisci Roselle was born in Italy about 1877, came to Brooklyn in 1892 married and I have a Death Record for her in September 1909 from TB. She is not in the family plot which was bought in 1901 nor is the Cemetary named as County Farms found in NY. The odd thing is when I first started my research I found a Rosena Roselle born in the 1870's, an arrival of 1892, married in a Sanitarium in Brooklyn in 1910 and still in one but in Poughkeepsie in 1920.
My Aunt says no one answered my Grandmother's questions or any of the Grandchildren's, nobody ever talked about her and the eldest children could recall her, but with a 1909 death my Grandmother was days shy of 1yr. I have the records for the family plot as well there is not chance she is there we interned my Grandmother's ashes in it maybe 6 years ago. While,I find it far fetched that the woman on these census reports is my Great Grandmother. I do find it strange that even like a lot of TB paitents whom were creamated, her remains would not be buried with the family.
