Do you read genealogy blogs? What do you look for?
Since there are nearly 3,000 genealogy blogs registered at GeneaBloggers.com, I've been wondering: what do family researchers look for when they turn to genealogy blogs for information?
I came to GenForum hoping there was a category here where people can talk about the various genealogy blogs out there--what's available, what they like, what they recommend. But I didn't see any section on GenForum about blogs. I know there is a way to recommend new topics to add on GenForum, but it's been years since I last did that and I can't remember the process.
So I thought I'd bring up the topic myself.
If you read genealogy blogs, what do you look for? What do you find helpful? What do you wish there was more of in the gen blog world online?
I just posted those same questions on my own blog today, and I'm hoping to get a conversation going about this. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone with an opinion on this--either here on GenForum, or commenting directly on the blog post I just mentioned. You can find it here:

Thanks in advance for any feedback on this. I think it will be helpful for those genealogy researchers who are writing blogs about their findings--and for those who like to read genealogy blogs, too, if it helps shape the content writers focus on in the process!
