A couple things to remember when posting.ALWAYS include some sort of date. All genealogical materials only cover certain time frames, and to know where to look, one needs to know when!
Queries must also contain geographic locations....the world is a big place so without a time and a place NO ONE can help you.....and, quite frankly you'll get more help from strangers who do lookups for other strangers, rather than thinkinking you'll find a long lost cousin who will tell you"all".It does happen, but don't count on it.
Another trick is asking questions places where you have the best chance of finding someone who has infoyou might be looking for.Post on the surname genforums, and the counties where these people lived. Those are your best chances.Use the jump to forum on the upper rith of this page.As you're new at this I'd suggest you visit your local library and see what you can find on beginning genealogy.Better to start our right, with good researing techniques, than have to start all over later.
Good luck.
