Many are not kept up-to-date, although I believe the one on FamilySearch has been kept up to date.

The bigger concern is if the Social Security Administration can place some restrictions on these databases, how long they will be available to anyone on any site.

A side concern is why the database on Rootsweb would be taken down because of "sensitivities" and remain on Ancestry since both sites belong to the same company. Why would one link to the other when both databases were essentially the same? Doesn't the company have the same "sensitivities" across its businesses?

Just a thought.
