"I have his military ID and was able to look at his basic military information on the National Archives but am stuck. I don't know why I thought that somewhere in the universe there would be a way to cross reference a military ID with a SSN."
In late 1960's the Army gave us military ID numbers-----
Later, they began using SSN to ID the troops.
Anyone reading this that knows what ID they use today?
