Selina died many years after my grandfather was born and before any expected marriage. I also have been unable to find a marriage and have carefully tried out lots of spellings of Challoner/Challener and other combinations as well as variations of Albert Edward who seems to be known just as Edward etc. I suspect that the marriage to Selina was never annulled and that although my grandfathers mothers name was Ann Eliza Challener on the birth certificate, the marriage never took place.
