In Reply to: Would you tell your parents if you discovered they were distant cousins? by Jack of 37736

if you have a brother or sister you will be some other distant kin, other than brother and sister.

My wife and I are 9th and 11th cuzzs. We have three common ancesters.

I am cuzies to my children, thrice and twice removed and etc.....

My mom and dad were kin...

I have sisters and we are all kind of kin from the 16 and 17 hundreds when familys cross married....

Have fun,

James
