Go to the surnames and see if there are boards for the names that you have. Do a search to see if someone else is already looking for the people you are looking for. When you post, try to include on the subject line, the 2 names of the people who married (maiden name of female), date, and location, if you know it. In your posting try to give as much more info that you have about the people you are looking for. If you feel that you have all the info on the ancestors but are just looking for other descendents of them then be sure to put that in your posting or you could end up with a lot of people asking you questions that you don't have answers to.
If you have the locations, for your ancestors, then also try the locations boards and post the same thing there. Sometimes people have books and stuff and will be willing to look up things.
One more thing, which is something that I tend to forget alot, when typing a surname, try to remember to use CAPS. It helps alot to make them stand out for others to see. There are some surnames that are also first names.
Hope this helps but isen't too confusing.
