Guess what? They're still at it. My 95-year-old grandmother received one of those mailings. My mother was smart enough to send it to me and ask me if it's legit or not [she knows I'm the one with the computer who will check into it]. My grandparents' family? My family? Hardly! My now-deceased grandfather came from a foreign country. He ASSUMED the name in question after he became a US citizen. Maybe there are people out there by that last name ... but they're no kin of ours!
I appreciate this page being online to yank the pants off these weasels.
