Hi, good advice.One word of caution I might add: it was not uncommon for families to ''split up''.The husband might arrive,first,with a son,perhaps.The wife would arrive later-different ship,with remaining children. Also, in many cases-Italy,for example,the wife would be traveling using her maiden name.I've seen,heard, incidents of this at the FHCtr.,where I'm a volunteer. Good luck to whomever is researching.There's a lot of info. out there-waiting to be dug up. Elvira Notify Administrator about this message?
