My husband received a paper today in the mail from this same company advertising "The Year 2002 International Grafius Family Yearbook". His brother called him and was very excited to have received the letter and wanted to tell him about it (my husband is the family genealogist). My husband told him that it was a gimmick and that he had received the same letter. My mother-in-law had purchased a book a number of years ago with her family surname and wanted to buy one for us (we didn't let her).

I said I would email the company and ask them to supply proof that they had indeed traced the Grafius family back to the time of Jesus' birth; I would then possibly consider purchasing their book.

I am going to follow another link that suggests filing a complaint with the Denver BBB but I have a feeling that what they do is perfectly legitimate if unethical. But, I will certainly pass the word about this offer.
