Hello Carole,
I don't have any info on this Mary Gelinas. The info I have is on her parents on back to the 1600's if you're interested. Mary's lingeage goes like this.
Mary's parents: Alphonse Gelinas & Lucie Brodeur
Parents of Alphonse: Alexis Gelinas & Edwidge Fraser
Parents of Alexis: Pierre Gelinas & Marguerite Chretien
Parents of Pierre: Alexis Gelinas & Madeleine Desjarlais
Parents of Alexis: Louis-Alexis Gelinas & Catherine Lesieur-Desaulniers
Parents of Louis-Alexis: Etienne Gelinas & Marguerite Benoit
Parents of Etienne: Jean Gelinas & Francoise Dumesnil
Parents of Jean: Estienne Gellineau & Huguette Robert
It's Estienne Gellineau and his son Jean who left La Rochelle, France in May 1658 for Trois Rivieres, Quebec.
Of the above marriages, I have the children with dates in my files. If your interested in copies, let me know. I'm glad to be of help. Incidently, my wife's name is Mary Gelinas.
Bob Gelinas
