As some of you may know, the old St. Joseph's church is being replaced by a new, larger one. The property was given to the parish in the late 1800's by Peter John Gehlen from Olm, Luxembourg. The Catholic school system is named after him. (Gehlen Catholic Schools)
If you check in promptly at the Le Mars Sentinel, there is a picture of the construction progress.
The old church location will be the parking lot. The rectory has already been sold and moved out of town.
