Hello, Geeseys! My Gese surname is giving me FITS. I can trace my Gese line (with the Gese spelling) back to 1860 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. I do not know whether the spelling of this surname was altered after immigration to the U.S. If any of you run into the Gese variation of your Geesey surname, especially in the N.E.
