John Geesey (Keesey), born 25 Jan 1811, was the son of Conrad and Elizabeth (McDonald) Giese. Conrad was born 19 Apr 1787 and was the second son of Johannes Jacob Giese (born 1755). You can find more information about Johannes' ancestry at my web site: http://people.musc.edu/~geesey/Johannes.html
As you will see, I have the Geesey/Giese/Gysi ancestry back to the 16th Century and I will be happy to share information.
