Seeking the will and specific death records (date, place) for Ebenezer Geer, 5th generation descendant of George Geer, son of Amos Geer, b in Groton CT 28 October 1764. He was a school teacher and lived in Auburn NY in 1830. Most of his children remained in Cayuga County NY and he may well have died there in or near Auburn. The 2001 update of the Geer Genealogy gives a death date of 27 April 1835. His wife was Lucy Chapman and they had ten children. I am also interested in the life and children of his son Jabez, b 1794 in Groton CT, and especially his grandson William E. Geer/Gere, born about 1825 in NY. Any information would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
