Hi Roy:

The messages were sold old in this webpage, I didn't think I would get an answer. It's good to hear from you. It appears to me that my Great grandfather Hosea Geer is also your ancestor. Hosea's son by his first wife, Martha Prosser, Asa Geer is your grandfather. Hosea's son by his second wife Elizabeth Prosser, Orange Owens Geer is my Great Great Grandfather. I am enclosing a copy of a deed to our family farm from your Grandfather Asa and Francis to my Grandfather Orange Geer. It may be hard to read since it is written in the old brown tannic acid ink, but is beautiful penmanship. I have also included a copy of a no hunting sign you may find interesting. As I get time, I may find more documents (although we don't have much at all) pertaining to the family. Most is oral history. I did hear a tape recording from the Stambaugh Theater? in Youngstown (10 or 15 years ago) my neice heard in her high school Ohio history class, telling the story of the older Asa's loss of his ear. They called him Abel Geer in the story, but it matches the story passed down in our family. I have always intended to get a copy, but have not followed up. I can't find how to attach the docs to this email. Please provide your email (or let me know how to attach messages) if you want and I'll send stuff as I get time. By the way, where did you get the pics? What does the ID# (ID# = 1167 (7)) mean and where did it come from?
Regards,
Benny
