George Geer's military record
Posted by: Julie (ID *****7890) Date: July 03, 2003 at 22:54:54

Does anyone know the military history of George Geer b. 1621 England. He and his brother Thomas were shangahied and ended up in Boston MA in 1635 at the age of 14.

I have been told he joined the military at the age of 16 and took part in the Pequot War of 1637. This war took place in Massachusetts Bay and parts of Connecticut & Rhode Island. Has anyone seen records (or copies of records) that would verify his service in either this war or in the King Phillip's War of 1676 - 77?

Julie
