Gooday, Jeremy,

Re the set of books - I have volume IV, which is very comprehensive, hence my desire to get my hands on the rest of the set. I made contact with a lady living at Buninyong (Victoria, Australia) in 1987, but I have lost her.

The covering letter which came with the book, to my Dad in 1956 suggested that there was a comection between our family and the Dr. Gayre, who researched the books.

Re our family from Tunbridge Wells (England) - there is still about nine GEER families in the town. Dad went back there in 1956 and made contact with most of them. However, he was not really interested in tracing his family roots. I am about to write to some of these GEER families, and see just what contact I can establish.

In the meantime, I am awaiting Dad's and his sister's birth certificates, from England.

What country are you living in? As you may have guessed, I'm in sunny Australia
