Hi Sandy!

Thanks for your info on Sarah Ann's siblings. I'll have to ask my Dad about Diantha and Stanley Hine. I know that there is an area in the Orson area called Hine's Corners and there are Hines buried in the Orson Cemetery with my greatgrandparents Henry and Caroline Whipple (dau. of Jedediah and Sarah Ann (Wooley) Woodmansee. I'll see what I can find out. As for the nickname "Dire" I have never heard about any nickname, but I would suppose Jedidiah would likely have a nickname. Maybe it was difficult for a smaller child to pronounce so it was shortened to Dire. Just guessing on my part, but similar things have happened in my family. I'll get back to you when I find anything on Diantha.
