As soon as I get specific information on the reunion in Connecticut in 2000, I will post it.The Geer reunion in 1995 was great!The attendees are great people to socialize with.David Geer a champion woodchopper was part of the entertainment.Ms. Ginger August,Historian of the Geer Family Association,I met in person for the first time is a TREMENDOUS asset to the group.Contact her at 32 Stetson Way,Princeton,NJ 08540,on queries.By the way,David H. Souter, a descendant of George Geer's daughter Anne or Anna will be participating in the election controversy in Florida.I don't know for sure if he knows he is a Geer descendant.Richard Gere,the actor,son of George Geer's son Jeremiah,is no doubt the best known Geer descendant.His branch of the family changed the spelling of the last name.Richard Gere and David Souter are NOT members of the Geer Family Association that holds the reunion. The association newsletter is worth the membership.
