Dear Tony,
How stunning to hear from you!! I posted that information over a year ago, with the hope that someone would know more about the family, but my ultimate goal was to hopefully find distant cousins.
You must have searched far and wide to find my post. I am so glad that you found it and found the time to reply.
I am on my way to work now, but will email/post my info on Friday evening or Saturday. By the way, I found the family in Puckington in the late 1700's/early 1800's, (near Ilminster) before coming to Chevithorne. You'll need a detailed map to find it. I found both Matthew and his father Peter in the tax records there, as well as church records. More later.
Thank you so much for writing...and it's very good to meet a new-found cousin!
Sincerely,
Randi in Sunnyvale, California
