Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Thank you for your message. I have tried emailing you again at rune.metaphys@lineone.net.uk
but with the same result.

My email address is jeremygeere@hotmail.com.

The Slark comes from Joseph Geer's wife Mary Slark, grandparents of your grandfather Frank Geer.

The family came from Sussex rather than Exeter. I have traced back to John Geere of Wivelsfield near Haywards Heath in Sussex who would have been born about 1520. There may be a link with the Geere family of Exeter but if so it would be further back than 1520.
