Charles H. Geer from Griswold,CT served in CT Colored Volunteers 29th Regiment Company I mustered in March 8, 1864 wounded mustered out Oct. 24, 1865. I have copies of the pension papers for this soldier from the National Archives.
From History of Griswold, there are two other Geers from Griswold in the Civil War..
